    Job Title:

    Real Estate Analyst / Associate

    • 2-3 years experience in Real Estate Analysis
    • CFA (or in process) Required

    Location: Hollywood, FL (in office role, not remote or hybrid)

    Salary: $90k-$100k, plus bonus and good benefits.

    KEY POINTS

    • Strong with Data and underwriting/modeling (REIT)

    Seeking a Research Analyst / Lead Analyst that has a history underwriting and researching REITS (not specific assets, but actual REITS).

    The right candidate will be coming from a Research firm looking and researching REITS.

    This is an opportunity to be a major important part of a growing small company, with regular ownership exposure.

    Just a few years experience, 2-3.

    The research and analysis they will be doing is very different that a typical MF or other asset analysis.

    Need to understand much more additional info, as well as how to find it, and how to package it up.

    They will be taking the REIT, underwriting it, looking at various things, including the segment, tenant credit, lease expirations, geographic locations, diversifications, looking at management companies, assurances of dividends, growth projections, underwriting current debt, etc.

    They will have to have the knowledge and experience to know how to find all of this information through research and then put it together into a presentation package.

    • Looking for a Lead Analyst to help build their REIT division.
    • Should be hands on, able to roll up sleeves, be data driven, strong with underwriting and modeling of REIT. This candidate will have the opportunity to take a larger leadership role (though still handling numbers/analysis) but then including strategizing with ownership, exchanging ideas etc. But for now, they will be focused on the numbers and putting together reports / presenting based on their analysis/modeling/underwriting.
    • Looking for someone who has the character and passion to build and develop this division.

    • This REIT Division is a new venture and so there's lots of growth (including this person bringing on an Analyst) once they get their footing and start to grow the division alongside the CEO/Owner.

    Lead Analyst, REIT - Job description

    Opportunity to join an experienced Real Estate Investment Group with a fund dedicated to REIT Investments, we are looking for a full-time in-house research analyst with experience in the REIT sector of the market for this position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct detailed analysis of property REITs, including financial statement analysis, valuation analysis, and industry research.
    • Monitor and evaluate market trends and conditions that could impact the performance of REITs.
    • Develop and maintain financial models to support investment decisions and portfolio management.
    • Collaborate with portfolio managers and research analysts to identify and evaluate investment opportunities.
    • Participate in discussions with internal and external stakeholders to present investment recommendations and market insights.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
    • Most have experience as a research analyst or portfolio manager in the real estate investment trust sector.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct detailed financial statement analysis and valuation analysis.
    • Knowledge of real estate market trends, property valuation techniques, and industry dynamics.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment ideas clearly and concisely.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
