    Company Description

    Oncology Rehab and Wellness Resources is an outpatient physical therapy provider located in Lansdowne, VA. We are the only privately-owned Oncology Rehab practice in Northern Virginia and the only rehabilitation provider in the region that exclusively treats cancer patients and survivors. We use a collaborative approach, working with physicians and other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive, individualized treatment programs to address the unique needs of cancer patients. Our clinicians are dedicated to assisting individuals through the physical challenges of cancer treatment and recovery and helping those with lymphedema better manage their condition. This role comes with great career growth potential as we are a small but growing clinic. Owned and operated by a physical therapist, not a corporation with a strong focus on high quality, one on one patient care.

    Role Description

    This is a part-time (OR full time), anticipated 20-32 hrs/week - hours are flexible - on-site role as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant with Oncology Rehab and Wellness, LLC located in Lansdowne, VA. Your day-to-day tasks will include providing rehabilitation services to patients currently undergoing cancer treatment or those who have completed cancer treatment. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop individualized treatment programs and address the unique needs of cancer patients. For those with CLT certification, you will also be responsible for assisting lymphedema patients improve their symptoms and improve their quality of life. To meet the needs of the community, our CLT's treat lymphedema patients regardless of the cause (cancer and not cancer related).

    Qualifications

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
    • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
    • Experience working with cancer patients is a plus
    • Certified Lymphedema Therapist a plus (or interest in pursuing certification)
    • Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia
    • Degree in Physical Therapy
