Basic Qualifications to Apply
- Live within a 30mile radius of Cedar Springs and Sparta.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes working overtime, holidays, and weekends, and being oncall 24 hours a day for emergencies on a rotating basis.
- Must have reliable transportation possess a valid MI driver's license in good standing, also must a license in good standing at all times to maintain employment.
- The ability to perform physical indoor and outdoor work under all weather conditions.
- Most positions will also require a criminal background check and a clean history.
Preferred Qualifications
- Wastewater treatment experience or operator certification is strongly preferred.
- Water treatment experience or operator certification is strongly preferred.
Duties will include but are not limited to; sample collection and laboratory analysis, control of chemical, biological and mechanical processes, mechanical troubleshooting, and maintenance, tending and maintaining process equipment, maintaining records and reporting, general housekeeping, and grounds maintenance.
