- Lead complex bid events, process purchase orders, and coordinate with suppliers to meet site needs.
- Drive compliance and increase procurement involvement in alignment with business strategies.
- Monitor and expedite orders, resolve supply-related issues, and align purchasing activities with production schedules.
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and delivery.
- Mentor and support the development of newer team members in the procurement process.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (supply chain management preferred).
- 6+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, ideally in heavy industry sectors such as oil and gas or chemical.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP (S4 Hana).
- Strong leadership capabilities and excellent project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, TEAMS, PowerPoint).
