About the Department


The Cardiometabolic Marketing Team leads the US marketing efforts for Novo Nordisk's robust cardiometabolic product portfolio, which includes world class therapies for the treatment of diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, and other serious chronic diseases.

As part of the team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of our portfolio vision, business strategies, and tactical plans that drive our business forward.

You will help to drive the NNI portfolio and Brand strategies to ensure the products reach the people who need them most.


The Position


Through this role, the Manager will lead definition of business requirements and technical implementation plans in collaboration with cross functional partners and key stakeholders.

Specifically, this individual will be responsible for supporting our Adobe stack in terms of component requirements gathering, driving functional and UAT testing, and ownership of the AEM Functional Specs Library.

The Manager will create user stories and acceptance criteria for tech builds, and collaborate with UX and Technical architects to develop best in class design systems for digital engagement channels


Relationships


Reports to the Senior Manager, Digital Content Delivery; Provides direct support to the Digital Marketing team, HCP/Patient Brand Leads, and Sales.

The position interacts with multiple NNI internal functions such as Brand Managers, Omnichannel teams, IT, Regulatory and Commercial Insights & Analytic, as well as external operational vendors and agencies.


Essential Functions

  • Develops and manages bestinclass capabilities for the execution of Omnichannel digital programs through establishing system requirements and anticipating future needs
  • Guide the design, development, testing and deployment of new features and enhancements to AEM. Triage and prioritize defects from functional, content, and user acceptance testing
  • Validates that proposed solutions meets the functional, visual, and experiential requirements outlined in the design
  • Develop user stories and use cases with sufficient information to reduce ambiguity between design, business requirements and systems
  • Create, organize, and maintain AEM functional specs library, product backlog, and design decomposition process
  • Provide guidance and support to the platform users, including training and documentation
  • Uses expertise to influence overall digital footprint roadmap and portfolio
  • Serves as a consultant to AORs and Marketers on best practices in digital content design, and how to align within Novo Nordisk's content supply chain
  • Leverages the content management and governance process to reinforce agile values
  • Demonstrates the ability to think critically, challenge conventional thinking and provide solutions to design & business challenges

Physical Requirements
0-10% overnight travel required.


Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree in applicable field or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years' experience with digital consulting, marketing firms and/or other related roles required
  • Proficiency in design tools, such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar
  • Prior experience as a product owner, managing and prioritizing a backlog of features
  • Experience writing requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for AEM (AEMaaCS experience preferred)
  • Experience planning and conducting stakeholder interviews and requirement gathering sessions
  • Minimum 3 years delivering features using Agile Scrum methodology, experience facilitating UAT
  • Experience collaborating with on & offshore development teams
  • History working with digital consulting or marketing firms in the development and execution of digital content
  • Ability to drive adoption of innovative digital solutions across enterprise
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite abilities
  • Requires selfstarter, highly organized, efficient, and capable of driving alignments among crossfunctional groups
  • Strong project management, problem solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Proven ability to interface with people from various departments, positions and knowledge levels
