    Carlson Testing Inc. is currently looking for a qualified individual for the position of Branch Manager at our Eugene, Oregon office.

    Ideal candidates would have project management experience in the Construction Materials Testing and Inspection field, but at minimum candidates will have 5 years of construction management experience.

    The successful candidate will be involved with a wide variety of projects within our Eugene office service area and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office, project management, proposals, report review, and interacting with the firm's management team.

    Geotechnical Engineer

    We are currently looking to fill a position for Project Geotechnical Engineer in our Tigard, Oregon office. We are seeking candidates with 2-10 years of related geotechnical engineering experience. The successful candidate will be working on wide variety of projects and clientele in Oregon, Washington, and beyond.

    The candidate will be responsible for assisting with preparation of proposals and geotechnical reports, development of appropriate foundation and site-related geotechnical recommendations, engineering calculations, project management, project billing management, reviewing the work of staff members, and interacting with the firm's management team.

    This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering and an Oregon PE registration.

    Masters in Geotechnical Engineering and an Oregon GE registration, or ability to obtain within 6 months, is highly preferred for candidates.

    We are a large Oregon based construction materials testing laboratory with immediate openings in our
    Portland
    Salem
    offices for motivated and skilled technicians and inspectors with at least one year of construction material testing experience.
    The ideal candidate would possess one or more of the following:
    ICC or OBOA certification for reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete, structural masonry, structural steel.
    AWS - CWI certification
    ASNT level II UT or MT non-destructive testing certification.
    ACI Field Grade-1 certification.
    ODOT Certified Technicians – CAT-I, CDT, or QCT.

    Other Requirements:
    High school diploma or equivalent required.
    Valid driver's license and personal transportation required.
