Elevation Climbing (Django, PostgreSQL, React, Node)  A social app for local climbers                                             October 2022

• Independently engineered a web application for Elevation Bouldering Gym members to upload video files and compare beta across current gym routes.
• Built a web API using Django Rest Framework and PostgreSQL. Implemented serializers to maintain data and handle new instances of 3 relational models (one-to-many).
• Designed a user interface that employs React hooks to accommodate JWT user authentication and full CRUD functionality.

Incantations for Spotify (MongoDB, Express, React, Node)  A Spotify playlist generator                                     September 2022

• Leveraged Github branching and forking for version control across a team of 3 engineers.
• Utilized React hooks to provide search functionality, streaming, and a main “incantation” feature that pulls key words from a string of user input to produce a new Spotify playlist with corresponding song titles and custom cover art.
• Configured back-end routes with Express to handle OAuth requests from the Spotify Web API, allowing users to log in with their Spotify account credentials.
• Designed React components to dynamically display tracks and playlists for a unique streaming experience.

DB Trippin' (MongoDB, Express, Node)  A full-stack web application for collaborative planning         September 2022

• Collaborated with 2 other engineers on a 1 week sprint to build an Express application for planning and sharing vacations within a niche user community.
• Implemented MVC code structure and RESTful routing to provide users with full CRUD functionality through EJS template rendering.
• Established user authentication by storing sessions and user input with Mongoose and MongoDB.
• Utilized pair-programming and version management with Github to maintain communication and code quality from inception to delivery.
  
   

War (HTML, CSS(Flexbox),  JavaScript) A browser-based version of the classic card game                                          August 2022

• Wrote conditionals and loops in JavaScript to create an interactive, user-driven experience.
• Utilized DOM manipulation to progress gameplay by handling click events and updating graphics (text banners, card-counts, and card faces) to reflect the results of each move. 
• Designed class-based playing cards with CSS Flexbox to complement the visual scheme of the site.
