What Do We Do Here?
Our Conroe Facility produces downhole products for drilling activities in North America. Our plant has high demand and is operating 24/7 to produce these products for our customers.

To meet the demand for our products, we provide employees with an air-conditioned environment, a highly organized and clean 300,000 SQ.

What's the Job Like?

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Perform inspections on components, purchased parts, and/or finished products as required.
  • Perform source inspections at facilities.
  • Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents.
  • Review inspection records received for compliance.
  • Maintain inspection and measuring equipment.
  • Prepare and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR's) for nonconforming parts.
  • Maintain NOV guidelines on safety, quality, and delivery.
  • Clean work areas as necessary to maintain cleanliness, health, and safety standards.
  • All other reasonable tasks are assigned with the goal of helping the team, operations, or the facility overall.

FACILITY/GROUP -SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPECTATIONS

  • Champion facility goals for Quality, Safety, Innovation, and Cost seek opportunities to provide feedback on process improvements, cost savings, and opportunities to work more efficiently and/or safely.
  • Remain open to feedback and collaboration with other departments and business units.
  • Regular attendance and timeliness.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ yrs. knowledge of standard safety and manufacturing processes preferred
  • 3 or more years of related experience and/or training preferred
  • Experience in Quality Control, Machinist, or General Manufacturing is highly preferred
  • Demonstrable experience reading and understanding engineering prints.
  • Demonstrable experience using precision measuring instruments.
  • Demonstrable experience using computer software programs (GagePack, ERP,Excel, Word).
  • Nondestructive inspection experience.
