Operational Purchaser / Supplier Planner (m/f/d)
Become part of SECO Northern Europe. At our locations in Hamburg, Wuppertal, and Stuttgart, we are a team of around 200 employees.

Together, we develop and produce state-of-the-art technological solutions, from miniaturized computers to fully customized integrated systems that combine hardware and software.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and ensuring the timely availability of all necessary production materials and auxiliary and operating materials based on material requirements planning.
  • Conducting purchase orders, order changes, and calloffs and tracking delivery dates.
  • Determining shipping conditions for our deliveries, including selecting logistics service providers and transportation methods (air, sea, rail).
  • Creating On Time Delivery analyses for suppliers.
  • Managing couriers for ordered goods.
  • Actively participating in and contributing to process improvements in supplier planning, and implementing your ideas.
  • Working closely with colleagues from strategic purchasing and production planning.

What you ideally bring:

  • A successfully completed commercial apprenticeship or a comparable qualification.
  • At least three years of professional experience in operational purchasing, ideally in a technically oriented environment.
  • Interest and enjoyment in working with suppliers
