- Sign on bonus - $8,000.00 As the Paramedic, you#will provide all aspects of Advanced Life Support (ALS) treatment and transport of patients in the emergency pre-hospital setting. Evaluate the nature and extent of acute illness or injury and establish priorities for BLS and ALS treatment. #Carry out procedures based upon Statewide Treatment Protocols, Standard Operating Guidelines and Medical Control direction when applicable. Manage the emergency patient#s environment in a manner that assures optimal on-scene care as well as expedient transportation to the most appropriate medical facility. This includes efficient utilization of EMS resources such as local first responders, BLS and special resources/equipment. #Performs all skills applicable to the Scope of Practice for Massachusetts certified Paramedics.

- High School Diploma
- Massachusetts Certified Paramedic (current)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Basic Cardiac Life Support-Healthcare Provider Level
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (or equivalent)
- Driver's License (in good standing)
- Experience in an active 9-1-1 call /dispatch center
- Completion of 40 hour Massachusetts Telecommunicator Course (mandatory where applicable)
- EMT certification
- NIMS 100, 700
