As the Paramedic, you#will provide all aspects of Advanced Life Support (ALS) treatment and transport of patients in the emergency pre-hospital setting. Evaluate the nature and extent of acute illness or injury and establish priorities for BLS and ALS treatment. #Carry out procedures based upon Statewide Treatment Protocols, Standard Operating Guidelines and Medical Control direction when applicable. Manage the emergency patient#s environment in a manner that assures optimal on-scene care as well as expedient transportation to the most appropriate medical facility. This includes efficient utilization of EMS resources such as local first responders, BLS and special resources/equipment. #Performs all skills applicable to the Scope of Practice for Massachusetts certified Paramedics.
Hourly rates start from $25.08 to $38.01 hourly (rates are based on years of experience) Sign on bonus offered to part-time and full-time positions

Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma Massachusetts#Certified Paramedic (current) Advanced Cardiac Life Support Basic Cardiac Life Support-Healthcare Provider Level Pediatric Advanced Life Support (or equivalent) Driver#s License (in good standing) ##

Experience in an active 9-1-1 call /dispatch center Completion of 40 hour Massachusetts Telecommunicator Course (mandatory where applicable)
