Description
Busy Independent Tire and Auto Service shop with locations in Fairhaven, Cape Cod, and Somerset is looking for a dedicated driver.
As a Driver, your main tasks will include filling orders, loading your truck, securing the load, delivering products to customers, and providing necessary paperwork.
You will also be responsible for unloading products at customer locations, assisting them as needed, and ensuring all paperwork is completed and signed.
Additionally, you may be required to handle scrap tires under the guidance of your supervisor.
It's crucial to maintain a clean driving record and follow all traffic rules.
Pre-employment screenings will be conducted to build a strong team focused on customer satisfaction.
Job Qualifications:
- Willingness to drive and make deliveries
- Ability to interact with customers and manage company accounts regularly
- Must be courteous and presentable
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of company training programs
- Drive company truck and deliver orders
- Load and secure products
- Maintain company vehicle
- Ensure safe and legal driving practices
- Communicate effectively with management
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills
- Adhere to company policies and goals
- Perform necessary paperwork
- Maintain cleanliness and organization
- Avoid personal use of company property
- Prevent any unsafe behavior
- Ability to lift a minimum of 45 pounds
- Engage in repetitive movements common in the tire industry
