Job DescriptionOur client is looking for an exceptional Staff Accountant who can has

3+ years of full cycle accrual-based accounting in public accounting experience and a Bachelor's degree in accounting.

What will you be doing?
Manage processing receipts and disbursements, recording of vendors' invoice and employee reimbursement transactions; maintain vendor list.

Maintain monthly recurring expenses and process all invoices in a timely manner.
Perform monthly reconciliation on the company's credit card statement and employees' expense reports and ensure expenses are recorded in a proper period.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing of the general ledger, including preparation of journal entries.
Assist in preparing the Company's quarterly consolidated financial statements, supporting schedules, and consolidation package to report to the Company's ultimate parent in accordance with the Company's policy and established accounting principles.
Accumulate and review quarterly financial statements from joint venture partnerships and investments. Discuss and resolve any issues or discrepancies with Partners. Review partnership allocation of income and losses. Review distribution waterfall from joint ventures and investments. Calculate internal distribution waterfall for the Company's clients.
Review profit/loss allocation and quarterly financial information from joint ventures and report quarterly financial package to investors.
Maintain the general ledger and all related accounts with proper documentation and records of all Company transactions; entries to the general and subsidiary ledgers to assure accuracy and compliance with the Company's established accounting principles.
Assist in year-end external audit and any internal audits by preparing and maintaining required schedules, providing supporting documents, and handling inquiries from auditors.
Assist in office administrative tasks, including but not limited to; buying stamps; sending certified mails; and accepting/recording office deliveries.
Assist in reporting to the Company's parent company on tax matters.
Assist in handling inquiries from tax accountants and consultants.
Maintain and update fixed asset ledgers of the Company. Perform annual inventory check.
Assist in implementing the development of new processes.
Assist in maintaining and documenting internal control processes and procedures.
Prepare Form 1096 and 1099; and other reports required by Governmental agencies.
Perform any special projects assigned by Accounting Manager or Executive Management.
