TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES, TASKS, AND ASSIGNMENTS:

  • Point person for mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, and errands
  • Coordinate appointments and meetings while managing calendars and schedules
  • Conduct research and compile data upon request
  • Work with staff, the general public, and elected officials to provide a high level of administrative support
  • Receive, screen, and route telephone calls; greet and assist visitors; refer callers or visitors to appropriate staff members; take and relay messages; respond to requests, complaints and questions from officials, staff, and the public
  • Assists with technical support for legislators
  • Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for daytoday operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
  • Assist with paperwork, administrative duties, and general office work as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


  • A bachelor's degree is required
  • Detailoriented with strong problemsolving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to plan, prioritize, and execute duties
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priority projects;

BENEFITS:


  • Proposed Salary Range: $60,000 $70,000 salary is commensurate with experience.
