The city of Gerlingen's portfolio includes around 90 municipal buildings, including five schools, twelve administrative buildings/childcare and youth facilities, six sports and event halls, 36 residential and commercial buildings with approximately 140 apartments and commercial spaces, a fire station, and a swimming pool.

  • Responsible management and further development of the Department of Building Construction and Technical Building Management
  • Supervision of approximately ten employees
  • Deputy department head and committee work
  • Leadership responsibility for client representation, project management, and project control of major construction projects with accountability for agreed costs, deadlines, and quality of construction projects
  • Ensuring operator responsibility
  • Budget responsibility and investment planning

  • A degree in architecture or a comparable qualification
  • Relevant professional and construction experience in the public administration sector
  • Several years of experience in personnel management
  • Economic responsibility and practical experience in budget planning
  • Current expertise in all phases of the HOAI
  • Good IT skills, including in the area of AVA (ideally iTWO) and CAD (ideally AutoCAD)
  • Ability to work independently, assertiveness, and teamwork
