    MLGP, LLC is seeking an Estimator - Estimating/Pre-Construction role specializing in the Commercial Construction with experience in multiple different sectors (i.e. Retail, Industrial, Institutional, Hospitality, etc.) in Dallas, TX.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Acquire and organize all pertinent project documents
    • Study and become knowledgeable of all facets of the project documents
    • Assist estimating coordinator to identify subcontract base that needs to be engaged in project
    • Assist estimating coordinator in making sure MLGP has the best subcontractor coverage we can obtain
    • Build and maintain relationships with subcontractor and vendor community.
    • Create and have ready for project bid day all bid tabs with all-inclusive scopes of work
    • Limit the amount of unknowns early in the estimating process and find applicable solutions before bid day
    • Communicate with all required subcontractors to assist in formulating logical sequence of work and therefore creating a project duration
    • Be able to identify value engineering ideas that will assist project owners and contracting partners
    • Be the main point of contact for all subcontractors and design team staff for MLGP until project is awarded
    • Assist Business Development team in providing schematic budgets
    • Attend all pre-bid meetings along with any potential client meetings during the Pre-
    • construction process
    • Take lead role on project bid day and be able to delegate effectively needed assistance for MLGP team
