Job Summary
- This is NOT a position in the IT field
- Candidates must be aware that travel from Monday to Friday is required
- Proximity to a major airport is essential
- Perform various field service tasks including machine operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, programming, and support
Job Details
- Requirements include an Associate's degree in Laser/Electro/Optics or equivalent
- Minimum two years of relevant experience with troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in PC operations and necessary software
- Skilled in using hand tools, meters, and gauges for machine calibration
- Extensive travel within the United States and possibly to Mexico, Canada, and Japan
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and deadlines
- Strong technical knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and optical systems

Communications
- Effective oral and written communication skills are mandatory
Service Support
- Installation, modification, and repair of factory automation equipment at customer sites
- Ensuring a safe work environment and reporting issues promptly
- Operation, programming, and documentation of machines
- Providing technical information and training to customers and colleagues
- Documentation preparation for invoicing efficiency
- Effective management of business expenses
- Routine equipment maintenance and assistance in setting up maintenance schedules
- Requirement of a passport and clean driver's license
- Travel across North America by air
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour

- High school diploma or equivalent (mandatory)
