Position Description:
We are looking for a qualified medical office manager to run our medical practice within a hospital. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations.
As a medical office manager, you should demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to perform well in stressful situations.
Our position requires knowledge of healthcare systems operations.The individual is responsible for overseeing all the operations of the department to include Human Resources, Payroll, recruitment, compliance, and communication within the staff and externally to other departments at the hospital.
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure steady workflows and uninterrupted service in our medical facility.Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, regulatory compliance, current healthcare regulations, medical laws and high ethical standards
- Oversee the smooth operations of Human resources. This includes assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees, scheduling of all employees, keeping a record of vacations, time off, overtime, benefit maintenance, compliance, ID badge/HIS maintenance for employees, employee relations, and assisting in any other issues that may arise in the department.
- Physician Credentialing
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures
- Supervise department staff
- Arrange cleaning staff and emergency maintenance services as necessary
- Generate inventory records
- Order supplies as necessary
- Accounts payable
- Bimonthly processing of payroll
- Other duties as assigned
- Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years Medical Office Manager experience
Experience with Intuit payroll processing preferred.
Pay:
Exempt position. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
