- 5+ years of related work experience
- Ohio or Kentucky P.S. license is required
- Experience managing and directing survey crews & staff
- Proven track record of increasing levels of responsibility
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Management experience of land development projects
- GIS oversight and laser scanning experience helpful
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D needed, Trimble product experience helpful
- Must be able to work with others in a team environment
- Assist in managing the survey department function
- Preparing estimates and writing proposals
- Assist in scheduling of the survey crews
- Determining the most appropriate project approach
- Field data preparation, record research, processing the field data, verifying the accuracy of survey data, survey calculations
- Managing the base mapping process, preparing plats and easements
- Ensuring the safety of the surveys crews
- Maintaining equipment
