Mission

Promote the development and growth of the product line through the development and successful implementation of business development and marketing communications plans and excellent customer support and service.

Roles and Responsibilities

Product Sales and Territory Development (45-75%) - Maintaining and developing existing list of key accounts assigned in the sales area.

Continuously prospecting potential key accounts and key market areas to help grow the business and market share. Evaluating new prospective key accounts with management to adjust and maintain the key accounts list.

Achieve and exceed assigned sales goals by developing action plans and schedules to identify specific sales prospects, targets, and/or markets and to project number of contacts to be made.

Manage, call on, and sell industrial equipment directly to the agreed upon list of key accounts. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity and as referred by telemarketing activity. Establish rapport and maintain regular contact with existing and new customers. Respond promptly to customer inquiries. Introduce new products to customers when released. Study customer needs and coordinate customer service with Service (CTS) Sales Managers (and service operations, where applicable). Actively engage in planned prospecting and development to continually increase your market share. Sales Manager owns opportunity through Start Up unless transferred to third-party.
Obtain, develop or otherwise prepare, deliver, and present sales materials, exhibits, and promotional programs. Prepare for and attend trade shows, exhibits, conferences, meetings, and other local, regional, and national promotional opportunities. Maintain customer base, quotations and calendar daily.
Prepare and present quotes, proposals, pricing, credit terms, and commercial terms and conditions. Oversee customer services through quality checks and other follow-up; identify and resolve customer concerns.

Experience

5+ years of relevant experience in sales and marketing of technical, industrial equipment (preferably compressed air equipment). Proven ability to successfully achieve sales goals and implement business development planning.

Education

4-year Engineering, Business, or Marketing degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

$95,000 - $115,000 base, total compensation including commission $135,000 to $200,000/year. Salary based on knowledge, skills, and experience and has been geographically adjusted.
