Quality Specialist
Summary:
Work with various departments such as engineering, procurement, and suppliers to solve quality issues and implement engineering/launch changes. Responsible for audits, inspections, and developing new strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze data, generate reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct root cause analyses and develop solutions for quality issues.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure quality.
- Train manufacturing personnel on quality standards.
- Implement procedures to evaluate compliance with customer requirements.
- Develop measurement systems for supplier performance.
- Address quality concerns with stakeholders.
- Utilize tools like Six Sigma for defect reduction.
- Administer Supplier PPAP and perform audits.
- Inspect manufacturing processes and materials for compliance.
- Maintain KPI goals and follow quality policies.
- Collaborate with team members and adhere to company practices.

Requirements:
- 35 years' experience in manufacturing.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Technical skills in analysis, problemsolving, and communication.
- Familiarity with quality standards like ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.

- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- Frequently required to sit, stand, Squat, bend at the knees and waist, and walk.
- Required to use hands to type, and handle objects and paperwork.
- Required to reach and hold on to items at chest level or reach above the shoulder.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 80 lbs. pounds on a regular basis.
- Required to use close vision, peripheral vision, focus, and see colors as required to read equipment and material labels, colorcoded inventory, computer terminal screens, etc.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed.
- Ability to travel domestically in the US and/or internationally if needed.
