Quality Specialist

Summary:

Work with various departments such as engineering, procurement, and suppliers to solve quality issues and implement engineering/launch changes. Responsible for audits, inspections, and developing new strategies.

Responsibilities:

Analyze data, generate reports, and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct root cause analyses and develop solutions for quality issues.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure quality.
Train manufacturing personnel on quality standards.
Implement procedures to evaluate compliance with customer requirements.
Develop measurement systems for supplier performance.
Address quality concerns with stakeholders.
Utilize tools like Six Sigma for defect reduction.
Administer Supplier PPAP and perform audits.
Inspect manufacturing processes and materials for compliance.
Maintain KPI goals and follow quality policies.
Collaborate with team members and adhere to company practices.

Requirements:

35 years' experience in manufacturing.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Technical skills in analysis, problemsolving, and communication.
Familiarity with quality standards like ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.

Ability to travel domestically in the US and/or internationally if needed.

The employee generally works in indoor office and warehouse environments.
