The AWO Regional Association Central-West Thuringia e.V. is looking for a full-time Energy Manager in Weimar.

Who are we?

The AWO (Workers' Welfare Association) supports children, adults, seniors, people with a migration background or disabilities in their lives in society. To do this, we work in the areas of health and elderly care, counseling, education and youth, day care centers, migration, integration and intercultural opening, as well as in administration.

These are your main tasks:

Increasing energy efficiency and reducing energy consumption
Creating energy concepts (renewable energies)
Close cooperation with the building management
Responsibility for the procurement of energy sources in cooperation with energy suppliers, suppliers and AWO branches
Conducting regular energy audits with subsequent reporting
Connecting technical systems to the internal information architecture
Employee training and awareness

These are your qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences, energy or sustainability management or several years of professional experience in a related field
