    Devere Construction, Inc. is currently seeking to hire a full-scope Senior Commercial Construction Estimator

    We are an established and growing commercial general contractor located in Central Kentucky. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lead Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction project estimating and take-offs for a general contractor, be organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented and driven.

    • Qualifications and Skills:
    • 3+ years' experience in commercial general construction estimating
    • Able to read architectural, structural, civil, and MEP plans and develop detailed cost estimates
    • Strong understanding of commercial construction processes
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
    • Impeccable problem-solving skills
    • Must be able to use estimating and takeoff software

    Experience Needed:

    • Estimating: 3 years (Required)
    • Commercial Construction: 5 years (Preferred)

    Estimator Job Responsibilities:

    • Review and evaluate cost estimates and material price sheets
    • Communicate with subcontractors/vendors and team members regarding new and current projects
    • Assist in preparing schedule of values and purchase orders in detail
    • Ensure timely completion of estimates
    • Perform takeoffs for self performed work and review project data for accuracy
    • Fully understand scope of work to bid
    • Manage bid pricing from all vendors
    • Prepare cost analysis
    • Establish and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and subcontractors

    Salary: TBD Location: Berea, Kentucky

    • Monday to Friday

    Ability to Relocate:

    • Berea, KY 40403: Relocate before starting work (Required)
