General Description:

This position is responsible for overseeing the test department, and for testing, troubleshooting, diagnosing & repairing microprocessor based PWB assemblies used for vacuum fluorescent, liquid crystal and AMLCD Displays.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Test and Troubleshoot electronic displays and PWB assemblies to component level with the use of multi meters, oscilloscopes, schematics, and prints
• Perform environmental stress testing on all final and subassemblies using vibrating tables, pneumatic air tools and wide temperatures chambers.
• Perform environmental Military Product Testing at offsite laboratories.
• Engage with customers regarding product qualification testing.
• Report and log all findings into our data collection system.
• Monitor employee's work, accuracy, and acceptability regarding quality standards and performance.
• Provide instruction, training and assistance to subordinates.
• Use good judgment in decisionmaking, as this position has a direct effect on customer shipments.

Qualifications:

• Must be familiar with final system integration and testing with extensive knowledge with the use of electronic test equipment
• Must be capable of interfacing and working with engineering to resolve technical issues
• Must be familiar with new product introduction validation testing
• An individual who is a selfstarter who is an independent thinker

Education Requirements:
AAS Electronics or similar

7-10+ years experience in electronic/electrical testing and troubleshooting

3+ years experience in test supervisory


Physical Requirements:
Normal vision or correction to 20/20 including color vision as this position requires close precise vision. Occasionally may need to lift up to 25 lbs. Conform to company safety policies and procedures. This position may require sitting/standing for long periods of time.

• Integration testing: 7 years (required)

• Environmental military product testing: 1 year (required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Van Nuys, CA 91405: Relocate before starting work (required)
