    Description

    Our Tier 1 automotive supplier in Troy, MI is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our quality management system and drive continuous improvement across the plant. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing, team-oriented organization dedicated to delivering exceptional quality products and service to our major OEM customers.

    The Quality Manager will be responsible for:

    • Developing and implementing an effective quality assurance program aligned with TS 16949, ISO, and customer-specific standards
    • Establishing quality metrics, tracking performance, and reporting on conformance
    • Maintaining robust Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality inspection systems
    • Serving as the key customer contact for quality concerns and issue resolution
    • Leading new program launch activities including APQP and PPAP approvals
    • Conducting internal quality audits and ensuring adherence to policies/procedures
    • Supervising the quality department staff, providing training and development
    • Evaluating product/process quality using statistical analysis and problem-solving methods
    • Approving measurement equipment, gages, and coordinate with engineering as needed
    • Managing departmental budgets and compliance

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field
    • Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in automotive/manufacturing
    • Expertise with TS 16949, APQP, PPAP, SPC, quality systems and methodologies
    • Knowledge of injection molding, assembly processes, and related quality applications
    • Skilled in quality data analysis, problem-solving, and process improvement techniques
    • Exceptional communication, leadership, budgeting, and project management skills
    • Proficiency with quality systems, MS Office, and statistical analysis tools
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities
