We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to be a member of our highly experienced team based in our Madison Road office.
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.We are open to offering either a full or part-time schedule for the right candidate.

Position Description for Staff Psychiatrist
Provides psychiatric evaluation and ongoing psychiatric care.
Direct staff's response to participant psychiatric or medical emergencies, emerging problems, and ongoing treatment
Provides information and education to staff, families, and participants on the course of illness and treatment.
Assesses the participant for benefits of medication intervention and provides medication monitoring and assessment.
Provides accurate, timely documentation of assessment and care provided to GCB clients.
Completes emergency psychiatric evaluations.
Collaborates with Psychiatric Advanced Nurse Practitioners
Position Requirements for Staff Psychiatrist
Must be flexible, creative and adaptive in handling changing priorities
Must have knowledge and experience in psychopharmacology including long-acting injectibles
Ability to work as a team member in a collaborative manner
Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills
MD or DO degree from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy in the US
Have a valid DEA number
