**Description**
**SUMMARY**: The Bartender is responsible for the service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** (Other duties may be assigned):
Setup
Assists with the unloading of the truck.
Sets up bar station.
Inventories all liquor and wine prior to function using the Bar Inventory Sheet.
Ices down the beer, wine, and champagne at least one hour prior to function start time.
Clears the floor of all excess equipment, boxes, and supplies.
Function
Assists in the hand-passing of champagne or any other beverage to guests as they arrive (when requested).
Serves beverages to all patrons throughout the function.
Replenishes ice and bar supplies when necessary.
Provides wine table service during dinners (if assigned).
Breakdown
Breaks down the bar making sure that all equipment is put back in its proper storage container; makes sure all liquor is put back in its proper containers.
Disposes of ice in a drain.
Takes and ending inventory of all liquor and wine using the Bar Inventory Sheet.
Assures that all clean skirting are properly hung on hangers and properly stored.
Places all linens (except rentals) in linen bags and transport to truck.
Places all rental linens in one location to be determined by the function manager.
Transports equipment, liquor, and supplies to the truck.
Sweeps and mops floor of station area.
**QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:**
High School education/GED with one to two years of customer service experience required
