Executive Protection Specialist (EPS) to our organization.


The Executive Protection Specialist is a part-time position responsible for the safety and security of SCN's key executives and other designated persons.

This individual is responsible for performing security advances of business, events, and other locations, providing close protection, and addressing and/or supporting security requirements related to transportation.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Provide protection and securityrelated functions for key SCN executives.
  • Provide office security at SCN Headquarters.
  • Provide advanced security assessment for meetings and events where key SCN and/or stakeholders will be present to ensure an appropriate level of protection.
  • Engage and maintain effective relationships with local security providers and law enforcement agencies to ensure an ability to cover events or obtain assistance when required.
  • Conduct advance visits to ensure logistics are thoroughly planned and performed, specifically entry and exit point control.
  • Act as the liaison between SCN executive management staff and local, state, and federal law enforcement partners.
  • Provide executive protection for key SCN executives to/from residence to office or scheduled events as applicable.
  • Provide protectee vehicle security.
  • Oversee emergency situations impacting SCN leadership, including security threats, natural and/or humanmade disasters, and medical emergencies.
  • Utilize deescalation techniques through conversation and managing situations for the protection of the SCN executive and employees.
  • Provide and utilize first aid, AED, and stopthebleed equipment and techniques as necessary.
  • Proactively utilize protective intelligence techniques and information to mitigate threats as they emerge.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Must qualify under LEOSA (HR 218) to legally possess a concealed firearm.
  • Weapons Qualifications training.
  • Experience using intelligence database search tools.
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid training.
  • Trustworthy with a proven track record of successfully working in a team environment and maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Adept at observing individual body language for threats and strong intuition for situation awareness.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Resourceful and able to obtain information quickly and know who to go to if the information is not readily available.
  • Impeccable driving and navigation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite on a Mac.
  • Organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently on an assignment and collaboratively as a member of a team.
