Operations

History of commitment to safety and is able to perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
Detect malfunctions through observation (sound or visual) for electrical and mechanical equipment.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment, as well as cleanliness and housekeeping of the assigned machines and surrounding area.
Provides ongoing communication regarding work orders in process and status of various projects.
Perform emergency repairs when necessary.
Repair broken or faulty machine parts.

Quality, administrative, and safety

Ensures that maintenance activities are thoroughly accomplished and documented.
Completes job paperwork in a neat and orderly fashion.
Completes all daily and monthly maintenance according to schedule.
Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
Follows company safety policy and procedures.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED, and at least 3 years print press experience
Proficient technical skills.
Demonstrated mathematics skills and ability to read a ruler.
Ability to work without close supervision.
Ability to read and understand work orders and resolve discrepancies.
Attention to detail and high quality are expected.
