Responsibilities
- Approval of products and processes for initial supplier samples at MacDonnell Heights
- Conducting supplier audits
- Assisting in the processing of supplier quality assurance agreements
- Application of quality tools in product development (product/process FMEA, acceptance standards, critical characteristics, etc.)
- Supporting interdisciplinary teams
- Interdisciplinary error analyses and coordination of measures
- Definition and evaluation of quality goals, as well as tracking of all relevant quality indicators
- Supporting the complaint management process - 8D report processing
- Conducting process approvals to ensure quality in series production, including on-site at suppliers
- Training employees in quality tools and statistical methods
Qualifications
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Certified Green Belt 6 Sigma (Black Belt preferred)
- Experience in application and moderation of product/process FMEA
- Ideally, experience in the automotive or automotive supplier industry
- Knowledge of stage-gate development processes (e.g. APQP)
- Knowledge of PPAP and PSW preferred
- Master's degree in an engineering field (or equivalent)
