Summary:
Develop and generate incremental Chipico revenue through individual action and assisting the selling action of the extended Sales Team by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Revenue generation
Strategic plan development implementation and management of same
Executive leadership supporting Corporate Chipico goals, facilitate seamless cross-functional team activity and encourage team development. Serve as liaison to cross-functional departments.
Collaborate with sales and internal team to identify and develop new pickle items for incremental growth
Stay abreast of pickle market/customer trends and competitive landscape. Share insights and recommendations to improve our business positions.
Co-maintain/manage key National-International Pickle Chain accounts to both maintain our position with them and improve sales/profitability.
Work with appropriate team members to improve forecast involving customer input as an effective means to improve order fill rates
Lead legal review of customer paperwork: NDA, supply agreement, Price/Term contract, etc?
Manage pickle price individual price classes, semi-annual cost forecasts and existing plus potential margins
Attend customer events such as trade conferences, presentations and the like solo or in conjunction with Sales Team members
Assist in Broker/Consultant management
Monitor sales performance, report trends and derive insights
Work with Marketing Team to improve the marketing of Pickles:
- item introductions
- sheets
Assist to define new product process to ensure opportunity is vetted, expectation set and appropriate communication of status is implemented
Supply chain co-lead/management for leveling out inventory across all 3 plants in customer context. In conjunction with Sales and Customer Service
