    REAGENTS AND PACKAGING OPERATOR

    LOCATION: WOOD DALE

    PAY: $18 TO $20 PER HOUR

    SHIFT: MONDAY THRU FRIDAY – 8:00AM TO 4:30PM

    REQUIREMENTS: RESUME / INTERVIEW / BACKGROUND CHECK / DRUG TEST / AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN US

    Job purpose

    The Reagents and Packaging Operator is responsible for processing test kit and reagent orders based on record instructions in a safe, efficient, and clean manner.

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Fill bottles with solutions, apply proper labels, bag and box, if necessary
    • Prepare reagent orders by pulling items from shelf, logging in log numbers, label and bag along with other qualified duties as directed
    • Follow safety procedures and use proper safety equipment for all assigned tasks
    • Participate in safety programs and any assigned supervised training programs
    • Learn and practice environmental health and safety regulations and wear the prescribed personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for assigned tasks
    • Maintain a clean production area and equipment. Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed and work area meets all requirements for housekeeping.

    Qualifications

    The minimum qualifications required to successfully perform this job include:

    • High School Diploma or GED Required
    • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds throughout the day.
    • Strong work ethic
    • Knowledge of the proper handling of various chemicals including the use of the appropriate PPE a must
    • Must speak, read, and write English
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
    • Ability to work in a high productivity environment with speed and accuracy

    Working conditions

    This job is performed in a working warehouse type setting.

    Physical requirements

    Physical demands are medium lift with repetitive motion using hands and arms. May be required to do sitting for long periods of time, reaching, bending, and stooping.
