The position covers "all things childcare" when it comes to the needs of our 4 kiddos2, 4, 6
and 8 yrs. old. The 2 older children are on the autism spectrum so any background in that
would be helpful for this position. We truly value the nanny as a professional caregiver and not
a babysitter. I look to partner with and count on our nanny when we are at work, to help keep
up with the kid's activities, help order things they need, help upkeep their supplies, keep toys
organized, pack kids' bags for trips, drive them to activities, etc. etc. I also look for someone
who LOVES kids We need this person to help with reading, learning math, and teaching great
manners but also to get down and dirty with them Crafting, playing sports, swimming,
sledding


Duties:

- p/u from school. Provide snack and pack for afterschool activity. Take to afterschool activity
and bring home
- help with bath and bed prep as needed
- help with homework or projects as needed

• Responsible for laundry, organizing, care of toys/stuff/sports gear, keeping stock of all things

kids (not clothes), target runs, amazons orders, pack kids for travel.

• Play with kids, get them outside, to the barn, in the pool, fishing(we do very little TV and

don't have video games)
- travel with us and be fully available as needed when traveling (there is time off when we
travel but not a set schedule). Typically, 1 week per year at the Outer Banks

• Seek out cool playgrounds, kid's centers, activities locally and when traveling.

- seek out healthy, good and fun nutrition and snacks for kids.
- keep kids safe and secure while letting them still be kids.
- flexibility to change schedule during the summer
- childcare coverage on school days off (snow days, school holidays, etc)
Schedule - LIVE OUT

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 128pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9am5pm and

Wednesday and Friday are your days off.

• Day nanny, Mom, and/or Dad will be around during most of your shifts, but we really need an

extra capable set of hands to help with our 4 young children - some of whom have special
needs.

• Nanny covers days when school is closed, potentially (but not typical) when child is sick and

the very occasional late evening for date night or an event.
- we have a full-time person that helps out Monday through Friday 5 days a week the early shift
so there is some overlap so that both nannies can pick up the kids from school at different
locations.


Pay:
$90, $120,000.00 per year
