- Conduct regular on-site inspections of housing rehabilitation and construction projects to assess progress and quality of work.
- Evaluate ongoing work to determine if it aligns with the approved scope of work.
- Identify any deviations or discrepancies and provide recommendations for corrective action.
- Capture clear and detailed photographs of work progress, completed tasks, and any issues or concerns observed during inspections.
- Maintain organized and accessible photo records for project documentation.
- Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports outlining findings, observations, and recommendations.
- Provide updates to the Interim Housing Manager on project status, issues, and resolutions.
- Ensure that all work meets the quality standards set and relevant regulatory bodies.
- Verify the use of approved materials and construction methods.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction inspection, project management, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and regulations required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using construction inspection tools and equipment.
- Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
