Purpose:

This role is responsible for maintaining work scheduling data, work status updates, process controls, and forecasting completions and computations for various tasks on contract units.

The individual will also be responsible for preparing, transferring, systematizing, and preserving both written and computerized communications and records. They will gather and distribute information and account for stores of materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To be successful in this role, the individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Compile and record production data to compare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production, performing any combination of the following duties.
  • Compile and record production data from documents such as customer orders, work orders, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets, following prescribed recording procedures.
  • Calculate factors such as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, amount of scrap, frequency of defects, and worker and department production rates.
  • Write production reports based on compiled, tabulated, and computed data, following prescribed formats.
  • Maintain files of documents used and prepared.
  • Prepare written work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities.
  • Compile material inventory records and prepare requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies.
  • Chart production based on compiled statistics for reference by production and management personnel.
