- Coordinates daily and long-range activities of the Chair
- Takes care of Chair's correspondence and responds on behalf of the Chair
- Manages Chair's files and provides administrative support including scheduling, correspondence, and travel arrangements
- Serves as a liaison between the Chair and leadership across different entities
- Requires excellent judgment and discretion for handling sensitive matters
- Extensive experience managing executive level calendars
- Skilled in arranging executive travel and preparing itineraries
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Resourceful in problem-solving and presenting solutions
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in software applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience in maintaining confidentiality
- Experience with social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter
- Ability to create slide presentations and use various devices
- Prior work in an academic University environment
- Familiarity with campus departments and University policies
- Background check and Legal Right to work in the United States
