The
Housekeeper is responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience by ensuring the hotel guest rooms are properly cleaned and maintained.
Housekeeper Job Responsibilities:
- Make beds, change bed linens, clean, dust, and vacuum.
- Remove and replace used towels and amenities.
- Maintains linen cart and supplies in a neat and organized manner.
- Removes and disposes of trash.
- Ensures security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.
- Clean other designated areas such as restrooms, fixtures, vending areas, storage areas, and other public areas.
- Respond to guest complaints and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
- May assist with other duties as assigned.
- Basic communication skills.
- This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying items.
- The ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays are required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Position Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Two years previous housekeeping experience required.
