We are currently seeking a full-time, permanent


Managing Director (m/f/d)
to join our team at our headquarters starting September 1, 2023.


In this position, you will be a legally authorized member of the SSB executive board according to § 26 BGB and will be responsible for managing and developing the headquarters.

Together with the executive board, you will represent the SSB Hannover in the sports landscape and expand our existing network.

As someone who is passionate about sports, you will work with a dedicated team to develop sports in Hannover.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Maintaining contact with the city of Hannover's politics and administration, as well as with sports clubs
  • Financial responsibility, including preparing annual financial statements and budget planning
  • Managing and developing staff, as well as organizational development of the headquarters
  • Overseeing and developing funding programs
