Tetra Tech has an immediate opening for a highly motivated and experienced individual to support the overall IEW Irvine office and IEW Irvine Water/Wastewater civil engineering department in providing routine and non-routine administrative support on a daily basis.

This is a full-time, in-house position and will periodically face tight deadlines on a variety of tasks.

The department consists of senior level executives, project managers and engineers, each of whom will rely on this individual to support the Sr.

Admin staff in document preparation. Attention to detail is a must, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.

Your Role:


  • Support the office with daytoday administrative tasks (monitoring & distributing supplies and mail; assisting with staff inhouse functions; onboarding new hires; nonroutine tasks as requested by administrative manager)
  • Oversee the project/contract filing system
  • Take responsibility for monitoring professional organization memberships, making meeting arrangements, and planning/booking travel
  • Oversee the Health & Safety requirements and inventory of PPE
  • Support the Sr. Administrative staff with editing and formatting engineering documents
  • Prepare documents for client deliverables
  • Manage work schedule to ensure timely and compliant submissions

Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of experience in office administration and document production
  • Recent experience and proficiency producing documents using Microsoft Office Suite software is essential, specifically Word and Excel, as well as Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Strong attention to detail is essential
  • Strong organization and verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, exercising initiative and sound judgment
  • Familiarity with the engineering consulting industry a plus
  • Desire to learn and grow in a teamoriented environment

Salary Range:
$27-$30/hr. depending on experience.
