    What part will you play?

    The role of a Diversified Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for pursuing new business.


    The primary focus will be acquiring new enterprise clients across our Workplace and Media business units, in addition to specialties across verticals and international markets.


    In addition, BDEs will collaborate with Marketing, Sales Enablement, Sales Operations to development sales plans including battle cards and win strategies to target specific customers and markets proactively.

    What will you be doing?

    New Business Development:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers. Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities and threats.

    Lead Generation and Prospecting:
    Assist and collaborate on lead generation initiatives, leveraging industry insights, networking, and market research. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients through proactive prospecting and relationship-building activities.

    Market Expansion Strategies:
    Evaluate potential market expansion opportunities and develop strategies to enter new geographic regions or industry verticals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adapt and tailor offerings to meet the specific needs of diverse client segments.

    Competitive Analysis:
    Conduct thorough competitive analysis to identify areas of competitive advantage and differentiation. Position the company as a market leader by staying ahead of industry trends and technological advancements.


    Collaboration:


    Work closely and strategically align with Account Executives and GTM leaders specific to clients and opportunities, to include relationship handoffs and mutually beneficial situations where opportunities require both a BDD and AE engagement.


    Qualifying Leads:
    Engage with potential clients to understand their needs, pain points, and requirements. Determine if they are a good fit for Diversified Solutions.


    Lead the Opportunities:


    Lead new business pursuits including key pursuit team members to be engaged through various phases of an pursuit (qualification, solution development, client presentations and negotiations).


    Pursuit Team and Strategy:


    Staffs and leads team in the development and creation of the technical, financial, and commercial framework for new client acquisition pursuits.


    Develop and execute pursuit and win strategy in collaboration with the deal team for the opportunity that focuses on business outcomes for the customer.


    Proposal Development:


    Work with Sales Enablement and Proposal Team to create proposal that address key challenges, specific business needs and technology issues of the client.


    Our value proposition needs to clearly demonstrate our understanding of their issues and how Diversified's solutions differentiate from our competitors.


    Negotiation:

    Utilize strong negotiation skills to secure new contracts and partnerships, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the company.

    Drive the pursuit team in the effective and timely closure of deals, maintaining a focus on achieving and exceeding revenue targets

    Sales Savy:
    Craft compelling sales pitches and presentations tailored to showcase Diversifieds solutions as the ideal outcome for prospective clients. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all sales materials.

    Product Knowledge:

    Deep understanding of AV/collaboration technology, digital signage, services, and their features, benefits, and competitive advantages for effective communication of value proposition.


    Sales Pipeline Management:
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and interactions with targeted enterprise customers.

    Achieving Sales Targets:
    Work towards achieving or exceeding assigned quota.

    Market Research:
    Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics related to collaboration tools and business communication.

    Continuous Learning:

    Stay informed about updates and new features released by collaboration partners and participate in training sessions to enhance your product knowledge.

    What do we require from you?

    Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience including 10 or more of business developments/sales experience


    Partner sales or technical experience required, with a preference for video, voice, communication, collaboration & AV, and demonstrated ability to scale through partner sales in a partner-led or partner co-sell motion.


    Excellent communication & presentation skills with a high degree of comfort at all levels of an Organization, including executives and C-Level.

    Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve operational excellence. Proven ability to be inclusive and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in matrix organizations.

    Exceptional strategic thinking and problem solving skills, continuous learning, intellectual curiosity, and professional impact.


    Experience in professional networking and developing relationships with industry business development peers and key representatives of equipment manufacturers, influencers, general contractors and across our channel partners.

    Our compensation ranges reflect the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The pay details below range from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market.

    Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience depending on the position offered, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
