    Description

    We're Net2Source, a Global Workforce Solutions Company based in NJ, USA, with offices in the Asia Pacific Region. We're a rapidly growing IT Consulting firm in the US and right now, we're in need of a WLAN Analyst for our client. Our consulting solutions are tailored for over 450 clients, including Fortune 500/1000 companies, startups, and organizations in sectors like Technology, Financial Services, Healthcare, and more.

    Job Title: WLAN Analyst

    Location: Hybrid (Onsite 3 days a week in East Peoria, IL)

    We offer a flexible work model with varying office days

    Type: Contract (12 Months)

    Pay Rate: $60-$62/hr

    Summary:

    As a WLAN Analyst with the Caterpillar Americas team, you'll dive into challenging network projects, honing your skills and expanding your professional network. This role is all about providing network-related solutions and using your technical expertise to tackle business challenges.

    This position involves supporting all Caterpillar locations across the Americas.

    Education/Experience:


    - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required


    - 8+ years' experience needed

    What you'll be doing:

    • Address WLAN issues, even during off-shifts and weekends
    • Participate in testing and user acceptance activities
    • Collaborate with partners and vendors on infrastructure integration
    • Implement WLAN designs and processes
    • Maintain and troubleshoot WLAN hardware and software
    • Share on-call responsibilities with team members

    Educational Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of experience

    Technical Skills

    (Required)

    • Computer or engineering-related degree
    • 3-6 years of relevant IT experience
    • Expertise in WLAN support, TCP/IP fundamentals, ethernet, and more
    • Hands-on experience with Cisco switches
    • Familiarity with Cisco WLAN products

    (Desired)

    • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
    • Automation and scripting experience
    • Previous work with large companies
    • Knowledge of WLAN configuration commands and components
