Job Title: Contract Analyst at Virginia Department of Transportation

Our Traffic Operations Division is on the lookout for individuals who bring creativity, knowledge, leadership, and passion to our innovative transportation projects. The Division of Traffic Operations Business Office currently needs an organized Contract Analyst to oversee contract administration and procurement activities. This role requires knowledge of state and federal procurement laws and the ability to interpret them. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating contracted services, ensuring compliance with contract terms, addressing procurement issues, evaluating consulting firms, and managing contract administration processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to transportation contracts
Experience in contract administration, including professional and non-professional services
Ability to interpret contract terms, special provisions, and project scope
Effective negotiation skills for goods and service contracts

Additional Considerations:

Preferred experience in VDOT Contract Administration
Experience in multi-disciplinary team environments handling consulting service contracts
Background in Public Administration or related field
