- Application Development
- Define and communicate the technical strategy to align with business goals.

- Security
- Work with the larger IT team to build a security focused environment.
- Work with the security team to ensure the environment is sufficiently secured from external and internal threats.
- Vendor Management
- Evaluate Statement of Work documentation and negotiate outcomes.
- Collaborate with external vendors to evaluate and integrate solutions into the enterprise.
- Hold vendors and contractors accountable for the promised deliverables.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field preferred, or 10+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven record of at least 7 years in IT leadership roles, with a significant focus on application development.
- Strong understanding of agile development methodologies, DevOps practices, and their application to drive efficient software development and deployment.
- Strong change management skills and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure-based data solutions, including data storage, processing, analytics, and security.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects, budgets, and resources.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong communicator (oral and written), including the desire to ask questions and learn from others required.
