Hands On Therapy utilizes a unique intensive treatment model that allows children to meet short term goals within 3 weeks. We are looking for occupational therapists who excel at using play to help children integrate various sensory stimuli from their environment, as well as to improve upper body coordination and eye-hand coordination. Hands on Therapy is a place where you can ask questions and collaborate with your colleagues and be encouraged to continue to grow as a professional. Our therapists are devoted to instilling self-confidence in children as they learn how to do more for themselves We want them to enjoy and thrive as they engage in the job (occupations) of living

Experience level:

We are open to open to new graduates and love to learn from you all the new information. Mentorship is a requirement for the first year for all new graduates.
Early intervention experience is preferred because skills learned in this area will support an OT's ability to use routines for improving a child's performance in daily activities (dressing, eating, grooming, writing, etc.) and to generate carryover from therapy sessions.
Preference is also given to therapists with NDT or Sensory Integration certification.
