Job DescriptionA hospital is currently seeking to add an Occupational Therapist to join their team full timeCheck out the details below:

Title: Occupational Therapist

Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

Setting: Inpatient & NICU

Location: Fairbanks, Alaska

Schedule: No set schedule but typically M – F, 40 hrs/wk with 10 hr day shifts

Pay: Competitive rate plus relocation, housing assistance, and sign-on bonus

The Occupational Therapist's duties to include but not be limited to:

• Evaluates patient's functional abilities and limitations and establish plan of care/treatment goals
• Implements individualized treatment plan and provides skilled treatment in a safe manner
• Documents according to standards set by the department and regulatory agencies
• Communicates patient information and progress to physicians, nurses, patient, family/caregiver, etc.
• Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, and regulatory and accreditation requirements
• Other job duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• AK Occupational Therapy license
• BLS certification

-1 year experience as an OT in an acute care setting required

• Recent significant specialty care experience in inpatient NICU and pediatric care (certification preferred)
