The Bühnenhaus Hamburg GmbH was founded in 2008.

The team at the Hamburg headquarters supports over 80 professional dressers and textile caretakers at five theaters throughout Germany.

As a growing company, we are constantly looking for new employees.

For the Hamburg STAGE Musicaltheater Neue Flora, Operettenhaus and Theater an der Elbe, we are looking for you to join us as soon as possible as a:

DRESSER (m/f/d) - part-time 20-35 hours/week

Responsibilities:

As a dresser, you will ensure that the performers are dressed for the show and assist with costume changes during the performance.

You will also be responsible for caring for the costumes entrusted to you and making minor repairs.

Preparing costumes before the show
Dressing and assisting performers before and during the show
Checking costumes after the show
Performing minor repairs and maintenance
Cleaning (washing, ironing, caring for) costumes and preparing them for the day shift (morning/afternoon)
Assisting with rehearsals and promotional events

Qualifications:

Enjoy working with people
Open and friendly personality
Quick learner and able to work independently
Team player
Flexible availability (evening, weekend, day, holiday shifts)
Previous experience as a dresser, in a tailoring/sewing role, or a similar education is beneficial but not required
Knowledge of English is a plus
