- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to ensure successful execution of manufacturing engineering and logistics projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and systems, with a focus on optimizing efficiency and ensuring product quality.
- Manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely delivery of products to customers while minimizing costs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for product labeling and documentation, working closely with regulatory affairs and quality assurance teams.
- Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork across departments.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in project management within the medical device industry, with a focus on manufacturing engineering and logistics.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and principles, particularly in the context of medical device production.
- Extensive knowledge of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, preferably Oracle.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for medical devices, particularly regarding product labeling and documentation (e.g., FDA regulations, ISO standards).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
