We are currently seeking an Oncology Patient Navigator (m/f/d) in part-time, initially limited to 2 years, for the
Tumor Centrum | Comprehensive Cancer Center Augsburg - CCCA in Lakeland, MN.

An extension is intended.

At CCCA, we organize and coordinate collaboration in cancer medicine with all participating disciplines of the Augsburg University Hospital.

It is our task to bundle multidisciplinary patient care, education and training, research, and regional networking in oncology to provide the best care for cancer patients in Augsburg and the surrounding region.

Your responsibilities

You will be the direct and constant contact person for patients with cancer and "navigate" them through the disease - until discharge and during follow-up care.

As a central, constant, and competent contact person, you will keep an eye on the course of treatment and guide patients through the medical care as a guide.

You will provide information and assistance through the many questions and guide those affected and their families through the complex healthcare system and its processes.

In case of need, you will inform about the various support services.

  • Monitoring compliance with multidisciplinary treatment steps at interfaces
  • Providing information and, if necessary, determining the need for various accompanying and support services
