    Description

    Our client is one of the largest dairy producers in the US, their business supports a network of local cooperatives, independent dealers, and other large retailers serving producers, and animal owners throughout the United States. Through industry-leading R&D and committed partnerships, they innovate nutrition products and practices.

    As they continue growing, they are looking for a Quality Manager for their Melrose, MN location to oversee the Food Safety and Quality Department, Quality Lab, Audit Process, and Food Safety/Security. The role entails providing local leadership in quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to specifications and certification standards such as EQMS and BRCGS. The ideal candidate should possess a strong knowledge of state and federal requirements and maintain effective communication with site management teams and corporate quality.

    What YOU get to DO at this growing company:

    • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Dairy Technology, or a related field.
    • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the dairy plant or food manufacturing industry, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in people leadership and practical audit roles.
    • Certification in HACCP is required, while certifications in GFSI and PCQI are highly desirable.
    • Proficiency in interacting with regulatory personnel.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as proficiency in computer usage.
