What to expect in this role at Bartlett

  • Planning and execution of construction projects for port infrastructure, taking into account economic and ecological aspects
  • Collaboration with other technical disciplines (geotechnical, structural engineering...)
  • Processing and coordination of engineering tasks
  • Conducting national and EU-wide procurement procedures for engineering services and construction contracts
  • Ensuring proper execution and monitoring of contract-compliant implementation of engineering services and construction projects, including contract management
  • Participation in project control and project management

What you bring to the table

  • Completed Bachelor's or FH degree in civil engineering with a specialization and experience in areas such as structural engineering, transportation, bridge construction, water engineering, or an equivalent degree
  • Desirable first practical experience
  • Independent and responsible work style
  • For complex and difficult tasks, the ability for strategic and conceptual thinking and perseverance in lengthy coordination processes is required
  • Willingness to further develop in the area of innovative digital planning methods, such as BIM
  • Strong communication skills in German
  • Confident demeanor and good
